Requirements for candidates for laser surgery.
Most people aged between 20 and 55 make good candidates for laser correction of vision defects. However, the final decision about the possibility of performing the laser correction will be made by the doctor after performing thorough diagnostic examinations at our Clinic.
Patients with contraindications:
-Persons under 20 years of age -Persons who are over 20, but whose eye defect progresses, i.e. has been advancing (radically) for the past year -Patients with cataract -Patients with glaucoma -Patients with active eye inflammation -Diabetic patients with retinal changes -Patients with heart pacemakers -Pregnant or breastfeeding women, and women planning pregnancy -Women in their period- due to decreased immunity -Patients with diseases of the thyroid gland -Patients with neoplastic diseases (cancer) -Psychotic patients
Refractive surgery does not eliminate presbyopia!
