In order to have a thorough diagnostic examination qualifying for the surgery, contact our Clinic by phone and make an appointment. Refractive surgery is a surgical intervention of extreme precision, and therefore it requires accurate and verified qualification examinations. Usually two examinations are required before you qualify for the surgery. Those examinations will determine what degree of correction is possible to achieve in your case.
The most important elements of the qualification examination are:
-Vision acuity test -Examination of the eyeball length (biometry) -Cornea topography in colour, the so-called computer videokeratography, the most accurate examination revealing in detail the structure of the cornea.
Remember!
If you are planning to undergo a qualification examination, stop wearing soft contact lenses 2 weeks before your visit to the Clinic! If you are planning to undergo a qualification examination, stop wearing hard contact lenses 4 weeks before your visit to the Clinic! If the result of qualification examinations is positive, the date of your laser surgery will be fixed.
